Sarah is a fitness instructor who embraces the welcoming and inclusive approach to instruction at SPENGA Marlborough. SPENGA's methods are all about making fitness accessible to everyone, regardless of their level. We're here to help people of all levels achieve their fitness goals in a supportive and approachable way!

 

Sarah lives in Marlborough, MA with her husband, Caleb, and her golden retriever, Whitney. She graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI with a bachelor’s degree in international development studies and Spanish, and she currently works as a Communications Manager at The Hanover Theatre in downtown Worcester.

 

Sarah has always loved finding ways to MOVE! She started dancing when she was six years old and danced throughout high school where she trained in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop, participated in dance team, and performed with her studio's signature dance company. Sarah continued to dance throughout college and continues to dance today with Dance Works Boston! In addition to dance, Sarah grew up playing volleyball in high school and has always been a fan of fitness and taking group fitness classes such as yoga, HIIT, Zumba, swimming, and strength classes. Post-college, Sarah also taught Zumba classes while she lived in Connecticut, and now she's continuing to pursue her love of fitness as an instructor at SPENGA Marlborough!

 

SPENGA is more than just a fitness studio—it's a vibrant community of members and instructors that elevates our workout experience. Sarah brings her unique energy and presence to each session she leads. Sarah and our team of instructors are dedicated to helping members reach their fitness goals with our 20/20/20 format—20 minutes of cardio work through SPIN, 20 minutes of STRENGTH training, and 20 minutes of YOGA with a focus on flexibility, balance, and recovery.

 

When she is not at the gym, or dancing, you can find Sarah enjoying local breweries and cafes, hiking local trails, or traveling with her husband and pup!

 

One of Sarah’s favorite sessions to instruct is SPENGA’s REVIVE!  If you are looking for revitalizing… then REVIVE on Tuesdays at 7:15pm is the session for YOU! Focus on recovery, flexibility, balance, and more at REVIVE!
